User Reviews:
The film is advertised as having "Double the D's"... What are you expecting to watch; "The Last Emperor" ?? I actually found this better than the first one (and even more importantly better than James Camerons original sequel "Piranha 2: Flying Killers"). 3DD is quicker paced, more tackier and fun to watch. 3DD also delivers heaps of bouncing boobs and really thats what the 14 year old boys who go to see this want to see. Like honestly how serious can you take a movie with lines like: "Josh cut off his penis because something came out of my vagina!!" My one complaint would have to be the running time. It felt like it was over in an hour. Like honestly we have to pay extra to see a 3D movie.

Monsieur Lazhar (2012) Free Download Movie

Monsieur Lazhar (2012)
Monsieur Lazhar (2012)
In Theaters : April 13, 2012

MPAA Rating : PG-13 (for for mature thematic material, a disturbing image and brief language)
Genres : Drama, Foreign
Director : Philippe Falardeau
Writer : Philippe Falardeau (screenplay)
Stars : Mohamed Fellag, Sophie Nélisse, Émilien Néron..
Run Time : 1 hour 34 minutes
Distributors : Music Box Films
Also Known As : Bachir Lazhar
Production Status : Released
Produced In : Canada
Storyline :
Bachir Lazhar, an Algerian immigrant, is hired to replace an elementary school teacher who died tragically. While the class goes through a long healing process, nobody in the school is aware of Bachir's painful former life; nor that he is at risk of being deported at any moment. Adapted from Evelyne de la Cheneliere's play, Bachir Lazhar depicts the encounter between two distant worlds and the power of self-expression. Using great sensitivity and humor, Philippe Falardeau follows a humble man who is ready to transcend his own loss in order to accompany children beyond the silence and taboo of death.
User Reviews :
This absorbing film, set in Montreal, ties together two tragedies and by such a linkage shows our capacity for human understanding and emotional empathy. While that may sound excessively depressing to some readers, I found a semblance of hope in this film as the characters, both young and old, try to move on with their lives and cope as best they can, and while the trauma may be a permanent part of their psyches, their seeming resilience conveys a kind of worldly maturity and acceptance.
The film opens with two school children discovering a favorite, but troubled, teacher who has hung herself in her classroom while her students are at recess. Psychologists are brought in to help the students cope with the emotional intensity of such a tragedy, and then later a Mr. Bachir Lazhar, an Algerian immigrant, presents himself to the principal as a suitable replacement for the suicide victim's class telling her how he's followed the school's trauma in the newspapers and he's available to help. Does he need the work (we find out his legal status is uncertain and he's in danger of being deported) or is some unconscious empathetic force driving him toward working with these students since he seems to understand their pain? The school authorities prefer to move on from the tragic event while Mr. Lazhar can sense after a number of months that some of his students are dwelling on their former teacher's act and her reasons for doing so; he encourages them to talk in class about their feelings and for this he is rebuked. We eventually discover the horrific tragedy surrounding his own family and why he's fled to Canada, and from this we can understand and appreciate his empathy for his students and his understanding of their emotional plight ("why did she do it in her own classroom during school?"). The film has many touching moments as this strange Algerian immigrant explains the "unexplainable" to his students and they in turn seem to provide him with an emotional outlet, and a purpose, to counter his own suffering.
Some reviewers have questioned the film's seeming lack of total emotional resolution, but life can be open-ended. Will these children completely heal (as much as they can) and will Mr. Lazhar's half-year encounter with these kindred souls give him the emotional basis for sustaining a meaningful life in a foreign environment? We don't really know, but some of the signs that the film depicts seem to be favorable. A very worthy film from Canada!

Premium Rush(2012)

Genres : Action/Adventure, Thriller
Director : David Koepp
Writers : David Koepp, John Kamps
Run Time : 1 hour 31 minutes
Distributors : Sony Pictures Releasing
Production Status : In Production / Awaiting Release
Filming Locations : New York, New York, USA
Produced In : United States.

Storyline :
In Manhattan, a bike messenger picks up an envelope that attracts the interest of a dirty cop, who pursues the cyclist throughout the city.
User Reviews :
The playful, mischievous tone of Premium Rush doesn't match the darker subject matter beneath the motives of its characters, but it is unexpected how thrilling the suspenseful bike chases can be. It's also quite unrealistic. Our protagonists are beaten, bruised, and even thrown from their transports upon violently colliding with other vehicles, only to rise shortly afterwards, practically unscathed. Star Joseph Gordon-Levitt's moniker of "Wilee" (after Wile E. Coyote) does complement the cartoonish nature of much of the film, but the more sinister elements driving the plot tend to clash with the whimsical competition that permeates the mood.

The most efficient bike messenger for a security courier, Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is physically much less convincing than his slender, toned cohorts) lives his life with reckless abandon. Speeding through the congested streets of New York City without brakes or gears, Wiley scoffs at caution and abhors the thought of ever slowing down. But when he's commissioned to deliver a high-profile envelope worth thousands, crooked cop Robert Monday (Michael Shannon) determines to intercept the cyclist and claim the precious cargo for himself. Now, Wilee must shake both the police and his envious co-worker (Wole Parks) while attempting to patch things up with his girlfriend Vanessa (Dania Ramirez) and deliver his valuable merchandise to its destination – all in a matter of hours.

The film works best when it is not trying to be more than a fast-paced, pleasantly nonsensical, stunt-infused race through the bustling streets of New York. The dialogue isn't particularly amusing and the characters aren't developed to be much beyond stereotypes and mechanisms for pushing the story along (spearheaded by Vanessa's overbearing nosiness). But the nonstop chase, the realistic obstacles, the evasion of law enforcement, and the opponents and nemeses that arise from a seemingly prosaic profession fuels an adventure that is surprisingly exciting. And although the tone occasionally dabbles down unlikely avenues (including many that belong in an entirely different feature), the light-hearted, goofy disposition imparted on the acts of precariously dodging pedestrians, insanely bolting through traffic, and engaging in prohibited vehicular street maneuvers is recurrently entertainmen

In an attempt to be noticeably artistic, Premium Rush employs stylized forms of special effects and editing – essentially interference that reminds audiences that they're watching a movie instead of becoming immersed in it. Bold lines snake across the screen to illustrate potential paths of navigation, a massive model of the city is scrutinized with the camera, panning through points at which characters are trekking, and GPS graphics are flashed on screen; rapid zooms and slow-motion accidents round out the gimmicks designed to demonstrate uniqueness (fortunately the frame never splits into multiple panes). Predictably, however, it is the close calls, sudden confrontations, and agile feats of bombastic getaways that highlight the fun, which generously outshines the flippant peril.

A Separation (2011) Free Download movie

A Separation (2011)
A Separation (2011)

In Theaters : December 30, 2011

Rating : PG-13 (for mature thematic material)

Genres : Foreign, Drama
Director : Asghar Farhadi
Writer : Asghar Farhadi
Run Time : 2 hours 2 minutes
Also Known As : Nader and Simin, A Separation
Production Status :  In Production / Awaiting Release
Produced In : Iran

Storyline :

er.
Nader ('Peyman Moaadi' ) and Simin (Leila Hatami) argue about living abroad. Simin prefers to live abroad to provide better opportunities for their only daughter, Termeh. However, Nader refuses to go because he thinks he must stay in Iran and take care of his father (Ali-Asghar Shahbazi), who suffers from Alzheimers. However, Simin is determined to get a divorce and leave the country with her daughter.

User Reviews :
Wow! I didn't have any expectation and that's what probably helped but A SEPARATION is a great drama. Foreign language film or not, this is just an excellent, excellent drama. You can't get a more Oscar worthy material than this. To me what makes A SEPARATION unique is that writer/director Asghar Farhadi takes conflict, secrets, relationships and other elements that we're familiar with and mixes them with the culture, religion and gender elements from that specific region. This film, to a certain extent, lets you in on how the justice system works in a place where some of us may be ignorant about. And it's really not about our way is better than theirs or vice versa, it's just how different some things are done.

And this is not just about a divorce or a separation of two individuals The film starts out that way and it ends on that note as well but what happens in between is more of a spin-off story or it stems from when the lead characters Nader and Simin stop being on the same page. A SEPARATION is a very dialogue-driven, a very character driven story, all the actors in this film are marvelous. When the tension is high, they're extremely convincing, I couldn't take my eyes off any of them, especially lead actress Leila Hatami who holds a certain photogenic beauty.

On one spectrum, you have Nader and Simin with their daughter, on the other end of the spectrum you have Hodjat and Razieh with their little adorable daughter. Because Simin takes time off from her marriage with the intent to divorce her husband, Nader has to hire Razieh to take care of his father who suffers from Alzheimer's. An incident occurs that escalates into a courtroom drama but there is actually another incident or a card that Asghar Farhadi hides until it's time to show it further on in the story and the way everything progresses and eventually unravels keeps you intrigued. A big part of what draws me in is the film's depiction of Iranian law and traditions when it comes to divorces and allegations. What may be considered murder, how important it is for an individual to see someone swear on a Koran, how a judge deals with opposing alibis. I don't know how accurate it is but it's nothing short of interesting. It would certainly cause debate and discussion among the audiences as to the fairness of it all. And the story goes through those problems and makes a full round circle back to the separation of Simin from Nader. A highly engrossing film.of Simin from Nader. A highly engrossing film.
